Israeli fighter jets are currently carrying out heavy strikes on the Baharestan district in central Tehran, according to multiple reports. The area is home to key government buildings and regime installations. This marks one of the most direct Israeli attacks on Iran’s capital to date. Air defenses and explosions have been reported throughout the city. Iran has not yet issued an official response.
