Israeli Minister Smotrich condemns settler violence, calls it threat to West Bank policies

Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich criticized what he termed "settler violence" in the West Bank, stating that "there is a group of anarchist rioters on our side as well – most of them are not from the settlement movement." He said they "threaten the entire revolution I have brought about in these years in Judea and Samaria" and called for it to be "eradicated." Smotrich also accused Israeli law enforcement of "total failure" in addressing the issue.
