Khamenei Claims U.S. "Exaggerated" Recent Military Action to "Hide the Truth"

Iran's Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei accused the United States of deliberately exaggerating its account of a recent military operation, claiming Washington needed to "blur the truth and hide it." In a post on his official X account, Khamenei suggested that President Trump's description of events was "exceptionally" overstated and that "anyone who heard his words understood that beneath the surface another truth is hidden ... failed to do anything, so they exaggerate" to conceal their lack of success.
