Knesset approves law to prosecute October 7 terrorists with death penalty provision

The Knesset approved legislation to prosecute terrorists from the October 7 massacre by a majority of 93 members. Under the new law, judges will be authorized to impose the death penalty on convicted terrorists, who will never be eligible for release, including in prisoner exchange deals.
