Lapid: ‘The War in Gaza No Longer Serves Any Purpose’

Opposition leader Yair Lapid, speaking to his faction, declared, “There’s no longer any benefit to continuing the war in Gaza. It’s time for a deal.” He argued the war is causing “only security, diplomatic, and economic harm,” and called for the IDF to hold the perimeter, encourage voluntary emigration, and prepare a long-term strategy to eliminate Hamas. “Reality won’t change through fantasy.”
