Lebanese Agriculture Minister details economic damage from southern Lebanon fighting

Lebanon's Agriculture Minister highlighted the severe economic impact of fighting in southern Lebanon, stating that 70% of the country's citrus production and 90% of banana production are grown in the south. A significant portion of vegetable and tropical fruit production, as well as livestock sectors including sheep, cattle, and beekeeping, are also concentrated in the region. The minister emphasized that southern Lebanon is vital for the country's economy and neighboring markets.
