Lebanese Army Soldiers Killed in Israeli Strike on Military Vehicle

The Lebanese army announced that several soldiers, including an officer, were killed in an Israeli strike this morning on a military vehicle on the Al-Khardali – Nabatieh road. According to Al Jazeera, the killed officer held the rank of Amid, equivalent to Brigadier General. The incident comes at a sensitive time amid ongoing negotiations with Lebanon, following an interview with the Lebanese President yesterday.
