Likud to place Sa'ar, Katz, and Haim Katz on electoral list via reserved slots

The Likud Secretariat will be asked to approve the placement of Foreign Minister Gideon Sa'ar, Defense Minister Israel Katz, and Central Committee Chairman Haim Katz on the party's electoral list through reserved slots alongside the prime minister's selections. The party tribunal ruled last week to reserve a slot for the defense minister to allow him to focus on security needs rather than politics. Sa'ar's placement is part of the agreement to merge his party with Likud, while Haim Katz will be included by virtue of his role as Central Committee chairman.
