Man Charged After Setting Dog on Park-Goers in Tel Aviv
The Tel Aviv District Attorney's Office has filed an indictment against Tsahi Zinger, a resident of Ramat Gan, for a string of violent assaults in Yarkon Park in which he allegedly used his dog as a weapon. According to the indictment, Zinger attacked multiple individuals in broad daylight after they confronted him about his reckless behavior in the park. In one instance, prosecutors say he struck a man with a club, sprayed pepper spray in his face, and ordered his dog to attack. The charges include aggravated assault, assault causing injury under aggravated circumstances, threats, and more. Prosecutors have requested Zinger be held in custody until the end of legal proceedings.
