Merchant Ship Explodes Near Iraq's Umm Qasr Port After Unloading Cargo

The Saudi channel Al-Arabiya and Iraqi media outlets report that a merchant ship sailing under the Panama flag unexpectedly exploded in Iraqi territorial waters, near the port of Umm Qasr. A security source told the Al-Sumaria News channel that the ship, MSC SARISKY V, exploded after unloading cargo at the Umm Qasr port, which is located near the Kuwaiti border.
