Miki Zohar Announces Postponement of the Maccabiah Games

Following the ongoing war, Israeli Culture and Sport Minister Miki Zohar announced the postponement of the Maccabiah Games—the world’s largest Jewish sporting event, originally scheduled for July—to next year. The Maccabiah Games in Israel were expected to host over 8,000 athletes from 55 countries. Discussions were also underway regarding the participation of U.S. President Trump in the event.
