Netanyahu accuses Mossad chief of insubordination over Attorney General coordination
Prime Minister Netanyahu confronted Mossad chief David Barnea over coordinating with the Attorney General on a letter to the High Court regarding the Gofman appointment without the PM's knowledge. Netanyahu called it "an act of insubordination," stating Barnea is subordinate to him and concealed the matter despite Netanyahu making the appointment decision. Barnea responded that he initiated contact with the Attorney General, not vice versa, saying he wanted to present his position to the judges and was told this was the proper channel. Barnea described it as "a completion of my argument before the committee."
