Netanyahu appoints Settlement Directorate head as Israel Land Authority director

Prime Minister Netanyahu, Housing Minister Haim Katz, and Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich have appointed Yehuda Eliyahu as the new director of the Israel Land Authority. Eliyahu currently serves as head of the Settlement Directorate in Judea and Samaria at the Ministry of Defense. The appointment follows a professional search committee recommendation, though a minority opinion is expected from the Ministry of Housing's legal adviser, Efrat Procaccia.
