Netanyahu: Arrested Hamas leader responsible for hiding hostages, senior officials

Prime Minister Netanyahu addressed the arrest of Hamas's Gaza internal security chief, describing him as "one of the most senior Hamas leaders" responsible for hiding and moving hostages, concealing senior Hamas officials, and attempting to rebuild the terror organization's capabilities. Netanyahu stated the arrest occurred near the suspect's home and declared: "My directive is clear: The State of Israel will continue to pursue all Hamas leaders and everyone who took part in the October 7 massacre." The operation was conducted jointly by the IDF and Shin Bet.
