Netanyahu's office rejects Turkish Interpol red notice request as "pathetic intimidation"
Turkey's Justice Minister announced a request to issue an Interpol red notice against Prime Minister Netanyahu for charges including the Mavi Marmara flotilla attack and genocide. Netanyahu's office responded sharply, calling Erdogan "an antisemitic dictator who massacred the Kurds, gives refuge to Hamas terrorists, occupies half of Cyprus, and imprisons a record number of journalists and politicians." The statement added that Erdogan seeks to expand aggression against Israel to Syria, and declared that attempts to intimidate Israel's leaders and soldiers "will not succeed."
