Netanyahu Tells Troops in Lebanon to Act Immediately Against Any Threat

Prime Minister Netanyahu addressed fighters in the Security Zone in Lebanon with an "iron directive" to protect themselves and act immediately if they identify any threat, without waiting for authorization. Netanyahu stated that through their actions, "Lebanon recognizes Israel, Israel recognizes Lebanon, and together we tell Iran and Hezbollah: leave here, you have no business being here." He described the situation as "two sovereign states, wanting to make peace between themselves" and called it "a slap in the face, a punch in the face of the Iranian axis," warning "it will not necessarily pass quietly."
