New Bill: 75 Days in Israel Could Trigger Global Tax Liability

A new draft bill seeks to establish that anyone who has stayed in Israel for 75 days or more in a single tax year, and whose total stay in Israel over three years amounts to at least 183 days, will be considered an Israeli resident for tax purposes—and will be required to pay tax to the Israel Tax Authority on all income, including income earned abroad.
