Pakistani Interior Minister reports progress in Iran-US confrontation talks in Tehran

Pakistan's Interior Minister and Army Chief Asim Munir concluded a visit to Tehran, meeting with Iran's President. The minister stated that "significant progress was achieved" in discussions focused on the Iran-US confrontation and Middle East tensions. The talks also addressed steps to revive the Islamabad memorandum of understanding aimed at comprehensive resolution of the confrontation. The minister expressed hope that "the momentum created will help pave the way for further progress and sustainable peace in the region," describing the meeting as ending in a "very positive atmosphere."
