The Israeli Paratroopers Brigade concluded a three-month deployment in the Gaza Strip on Monday, transitioning operations to Judea and Samaria. During their time in Gaza, the forces operated under the command of the 143rd Gaza Division and the 99th Division, focusing on defensive operations and clearing the Yellow Line corridor (a strategic buffer zone) of terrorist infrastructure.
Working alongside Yahalom, the IDF's elite combat engineering unit, the paratroopers systematically destroyed underground tunnel networks. According to military officials, the forces sealed and demolished a total of 13 kilometers of subterranean passages used by Hamas.
