Protests against Israel held across multiple Syrian cities

Demonstrations in support of Palestinians took place in Homs, Daraa, Latakia, Damascus, and other Syrian cities. Protesters burned Israeli flags and chanted in support of Gaza. The protests were triggered by a death penalty law approved by the Knesset and the continued closure of Al-Aqsa Mosque for prayer.
