Protests Erupt in Iran Against Emerging US Nuclear Agreement

Conservative supporters in Iran held protest demonstrations against the emerging nuclear agreement with the United States. Protesters in Tehran's Avicenna Square and in Mashhad chanted slogans against Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi and Parliament Speaker Mohammad Ghalibaf, including chants of "Death to Ghalibaf." The demonstrations reflect opposition within Iran's conservative faction to the nuclear deal being negotiated with the Trump administration.
