Rabbi Landau declares no confidence in Netanyahu, calls for immediate elections
Rabbi Dov Landau, spiritual leader of Degel HaTorah, has issued a formal letter declaring the party has no trust in Prime Minister Netanyahu and no longer considers itself his coalition partner. "We will act only according to what we believe is good for the Haredi community," Landau wrote to the party's Knesset members. He stated that elections should be held as soon as possible and that "all kinds of talk about a political bloc are no longer relevant." The letter praised the MKs for fulfilling their mission "faithfully, above and beyond."
