Rabid Jackal Found in Upper Galilee, Two People Exposed

A jackal infected with rabies was identified in the Nahal Rosh Pina area and near the Ayelet HaShahar community in the Upper Galilee, authorities reported today. Two individuals exposed to the jackal were immediately referred for preventive rabies treatment.
