Reuters reports a new proposal for relocation of Gaza residents.

Representatives from the humanitarian aid fund GHF presented senior White House officials with a plan to establish new camps called “humanitarian transit zones,” some inside Gaza and some outside, aiming to remove Hamas’s control over Gazans. The plan describes the camps as “large-scale” and “voluntary” places where Gaza’s population can “temporarily reside, halt radicalization, reintegrate, and prepare for permanent relocation if they choose.” A project insider said the plan, initiated last year, includes eight camps, each capable of housing hundreds to thousands of Palestinians. The proposal was presented at the White House but is currently stalled due to budget constraints.
