Ron Dermer denies Netanyahu received UAE warning before October 7, calls report fabrication

Former Strategic Affairs Minister Ron Dermer categorically denied reports that Netanyahu received a warning from UAE President Mohammed bin Zayed before October 7. Speaking at the MEAD Conference in Washington, Dermer stated: "Did such a conversation take place? No." He explained he would have been part of any such conversation, as expanding the Abraham Accords was among his assigned tasks, and he was privy to all conversations between Netanyahu and bin Zayed. "This conversation did not take place," Dermer said, calling the story "essentially a fabrication. Just a made-up story." He noted both Israeli and Emirati officials have denied the alleged conversation occurred.
