Rubio condemns settler attack on US journalist, calls incident "disturbing"

US Secretary of State Marco Rubio responded to questions about an attack on an American journalist in the West Bank on Friday, calling the images "very troubling." Rubio said the US has asked Israel to "act decisively against these phenomena." He described the incident in which a photojournalist "was attacked and beaten" by settler groups, with video documentation available. "The whole event was simply disturbing. It looks very bad," Rubio stated. He added that President Trump "does not want to see friction or any kind of crisis in Judea and Samaria."
