Rubio says U.S. law blocks F-35 transfer to Turkey until S-400 dispute resolved

U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio stated that American law prevents the delivery of F-35 fighter jets to Turkey, despite Ankara having already paid for them, until the dispute over Turkey's acquisition of Russian S-400 air defense systems is resolved. In an interview with Greek newspaper Kathimerini, Rubio noted that President Trump wants Turkey to receive the aircraft.
