U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio stated that undersea cables face increasing threats worldwide from hostile actors attempting to access or sever them during conflicts. "Undersea cables are increasingly being threatened all over the world by bad actors that are trying to access them or cut them in time of conflict," Rubio said.
