Saudi Arabia intercepts Iranian ballistic missile targeting Yanbu port on Red Sea

Saudi Ministry of Defense reports intercepting a ballistic missile launched toward the port of Yanbu on the Red Sea coast this morning. The attack follows recent Iranian threats from the Khatam al-Anbiya Headquarters warning that centers providing logistical support to the USS Gerald Ford aircraft carrier would be targeted. Iran had identified the Gerald Ford's presence in the Red Sea as a threat, though the carrier is now en route to Crete for maintenance.
