Saudi Arabia, Turkey, and Pakistan sign "Mecca Agreement" defense alliance

Saudi Arabia, Turkey, and Pakistan have signed the "Mecca Agreement," a military defense alliance establishing mutual defense commitments. According to the official statement, "any military attack against one of the three countries will be considered an attack against all three." The agreement aims to strengthen joint deterrence against aggression and deepen cooperation in security and defense. Senior Pakistani and Turkish officials stated the alliance is not directed against any particular party and remains open for additional regional countries to join.
