Senior Hamas Leader Mahmoud al-Zahar Located in Egypt

According to Palestinian reports, Mahmoud al-Zahar, a senior Hamas leader in Gaza, left the Strip through tunnels before Israel’s takeover of Rafah and crossed into Egypt. He is reportedly under house arrest in Arish by Egyptian security forces and being held in complete secrecy.
