Senior Hamas official Iyad al-Shanbari killed in Gaza City strike

Iyad al-Shanbari, a senior official in Hamas's Beit Hanoun Battalion, was killed in a vehicle strike in western Gaza City. His son was also killed in the attack, bringing the death toll to three. Al-Shanbari previously survived an assassination attempt in 2007.
