Shas accuses protest organizers of extremism, claims judicial interference in election campaign

Shas party claims that today's protests are funded by activists from the Kaplan protest movement joined by extremist elements leading violent demonstrations, stating these actions do not represent the ultra-Orthodox community. The party also accuses authorities of "blatant and unprecedented interference by the judicial system and elements within the Military Police in the election campaign" over the resumption of arrests of draft evaders.
