Shin Bet Foils Hamas Plot to Assassinate Ben Gvir

The Shin Bet announced Wednesday that it has thwarted a Hamas cell from Hebron planning to assassinate National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir using explosive-laden drones. In a joint operation with the IDF over recent weeks, the cell was arrested on suspicion of operating under Hamas command in Turkey. According to the investigation, the suspects purchased several drones intended to carry explosives for the planned attack. The drones were seized during the arrests. The Shin Bet said the suspects are still under interrogation.
