South Korea shipped over 176,000 tonnes of fuel to Russia in July-August

South Korea delivered more than 176,000 tonnes of fuel to Russia in July and August, primarily diesel, according to Guardian analysis of port and ship tracking data. Seven tankers conducted 14 voyages to Russia's far east, with three vessels operating under UK and EU sanctions. Several ships declared Japan or Singapore as destinations before redirecting to Vladivostok. Russia's August seaborne oil product imports reached 368,000 tonnes, the highest monthly total since the full-scale invasion began, with South Korea supplying 31% of the total.
