Spain and the UK recorded their hottest June ever

Spain’s meteorological service reported June 2025 as the “hottest June” with an average temperature of 23.6°C — smashing records and surpassing the usual averages for July and August. In England, the Meteorological Office said the average June temperature of 16.9°C set a new record for the month, while the UK overall experienced its second hottest June since records began in 1884.
