Starlink reportedly limits internet speeds for Ukrainian UAVs to 70 km/h
Ukraine has discovered that Starlink satellite internet stops working when UAVs reach high speeds, according to reports. The service now allegedly cuts off at speeds above 70 km/h, down from a previous 160 km/h limit. Ukrainian offensive and defensive drones rely exclusively on Starlink for connectivity. The change was implemented without prior warning, presenting operational challenges. It remains unclear whether the limitation stems from a policy decision related to restricting Ukrainian strikes on Russia.
