"We're fed up"

Trump: "We're going to hit Iran hard"

At Alaska rally, US president issues sharp warning to Tehran regime amid rising tensions. We're pretty much fed up. Wait and see, Trump declares, vowing Iran will never have nuclear weapons.

US President Donald Trump issued an unusually sharp warning to the Islamic Republic of Iran overnight Tuesday, declaring that America will strike hard at the regime amid ongoing tensions between the two countries.

"Wait and see what we do to Iran. We're going to hit them hard. Wait and see," Trump told the crowd at a campaign rally in Alaska. The president explained the reasoning behind the tough American stance: "They're waiting. Wait and see what we do to Iran, because we're pretty much fed up."

He emphasized that the administration's central goal remains preventing Iranian nuclear armament. "But it doesn't matter. The important thing is they won't have nuclear weapons, and they won't. It's buried under thousands of tons of rock," the president said, referring to Iran's nuclear facilities.

Channel 12 News reported Tuesday night that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and President Trump spoke last week about the possibility of renewing military action against Iran. According to the report, "Senior American officials said they got the impression Netanyahu was interested in resuming strikes on Iran before the elections. One of the reasons Netanyahu presented for the need to launch the operation was worrying new steps Iran is taking in the nuclear sphere."

In a separate exchange with reporters, Trump was asked about Israel's elections and why he has not endorsed any candidate. Despite his close relationship with Prime Minister Netanyahu, Trump avoided giving explicit support. "We haven't even thought about it," he told the journalist, then immediately added: "Maybe I'll do something about it."

He summed up his position on Iran with a clear statement: "Iran is a failed state. They have no economy. They have 300% inflation. They have no money. They don't pay their soldiers. They don't pay anybody. We'll make a decision on Iran very soon."
