Rare footage from the Ukrainian city of Kharkiv captured the moment a missile struck a residential building, from the perspective of a man inside who was filming at the time.
The Ukrainian resident was recording a video for social media from his bedroom, speaking calmly to the camera as air-raid sirens and loudspeaker warnings to residents echoed in the background.
Suddenly, the whistle of an incoming missile is heard, before it crashes into the building where he was standing. The video clearly shows the violent explosion and the fireball that erupted at the moment of impact, frightening documentation from as close to the strike as possible.
Later in the footage, the same man is seen walking through his home, which suffered severe blast damage from the missile that hit the building. Miraculously, he survived the Russian strike.
