Strait of Hormuz traffic surges 400% amid weakening Iranian control

Traffic through the Strait of Hormuz has increased nearly 400% over the past two weeks, according to the New York Post. UK Maritime Trade Operations data shows approximately 200 vessels passed through the strategic waterway last week, compared to 150 the previous week and only 40 two weeks earlier. The surge follows increased use of a US-supported corridor for crossing the strait.
