Syrian Boy Critically Injured in Fall Airlifted to Rambam Hospital
Medical teams from United Hatzalah provided primary medical aid to a 5-year-old boy today who was critically injured after falling from a height in the Syrian village of Hader. United Hatzalah medics Ali Tarbiya and Amin Abu Saleh, who treated the child, reported that he was brought from the Syrian border by an IDF intensive care ambulance in serious condition. Family members stated that his injuries were the result of a fall. The boy, who suffered head trauma and various other injuries, received initial medical stabilization at a landing pad located at a soccer field in Bu'qata. He was subsequently evacuated by a military helicopter to Rambam Hospital for further treatment.
