Tajikistan Citizen with Russian Passport Arrested for Spying for Iran

A foreign citizen from Tajikistan holding a Russian passport has been arrested on suspicion of spying for Iran. Security forces say he sought to assist Iran in "Operation Roaring Lion" to help achieve operational gains and advance its international objectives against Israel. He documented and transmitted locations of Iranian missile impacts, sent map coordinates of the Azrieli Towers, provided a photo from Haifa Port, and attempted to photograph a sensitive security facility in the north. He also actively helped recruit other individuals for missions on behalf of Iranian entities.
