Talks to Form Joint List Collapse After Ta'al Party Withdraws
Negotiations to form the Joint List have broken down after the Ta'al party, led by Ahmad Tibi, rejected the proposal to join with Hadash and announced it was ceasing talks within the Reconciliation Committee framework. Journalist Mohammad Majadleh reports that Sami Miari, a member of the Reconciliation Committee, has resigned from the committee in protest of its decisions.
