Israeli police announced Wednesday morning the arrest of three additional suspects in connection with an ongoing investigation into arson attacks and assaults on Palestinians that occurred recently in the southern Hebron Hills region. The three detainees, residents of Judea and Samaria (the West Bank) and central Israel, ranging in age from 15 to 22, were transferred for questioning and are scheduled to appear before a judge for a hearing on extending their detention.
According to Israel Police, the arrests were carried out overnight by officers from the inter-agency command headquarters of the Judea and Samaria District, working with Border Police fighters and Shin Bet security service personnel. The forces detained the three suspects in the early morning hours, after which they were brought in for police interrogation.
