A three-year-old boy was seriously injured while playing on Avraham Idelson Street in Jerusalem. Magen David Adom paramedics treated him at the scene and evacuated him to Shaare Zedek Hospital with severe head trauma.
The child was hurt while riding a toy scooter.
MDA medics Binyamin Mendelson and Esther Mendelson said: "We saw the child lying on the ground, conscious but suffering from significant head trauma after being injured while riding a toy scooter. We provided him with life-saving medical treatment and evacuated him in an MDA intensive care ambulance to the hospital in serious condition."
Earlier in the day, a ten-year-old boy was seriously injured when he slipped while riding an electric scooter on Yerushalayim Boulevard in Ashdod. An MDA team evacuated him to Assuta Hospital in the city.
