Tomb of Elazar HaKohen Vandalized in Awarta, Samaria

The tomb of Elazar the Priest in the village of Awarta, located in Samaria, was desecrated. Rabbi Yitzhak Dovid Grossman, chairman of the Chief Rabbinate’s Committee on Holy Sites and a leading figure in Jewish outreach, responded: "I was shocked to see the pogrom carried out at the tomb of Elazar the Priest, son of Aaron the Priest, in the village of Awarta in Samaria. Protect this holy site and prevent any further desecration."
