Trump Says Iran Talks Begin Tomorrow, Reveals Allies Asked Him to Refrain from Strikes
President Trump made several overnight statements on Iran, revealing that Saudi Arabia, UAE, Qatar, and Iran requested he refrain from planned large-scale strikes. "Our allies believe there is an agreement. There is an agreement regarding the Strait of Hormuz, and there will also be an agreement on the nuclear issue," Trump stated. He confirmed talks with Iran will begin tomorrow afternoon, saying "This will save many lives." When asked if Iran has a deadline to reach an agreement, Trump responded, "We'll see. I'm not looking to kill people." He declined to address reports of moving American forces from Kuwait and Bahrain.
