Trump to CNN: “The People I Negotiated With – They’re Dead”

In a striking interview with CNN, former U.S. President Donald Trump voiced unequivocal support for Israel, calling the Israeli strikes in Iran last night a “highly successful operation.” “Of course we support Israel. That’s obvious — and we’ve supported them like no one else ever has,” Trump said in a brief phone call. He revealed that Iran had been given a clear ultimatum: “I warned them — I don’t know if you know this — but I gave them a 60-day warning. Today is day 61.” He added a blunt message to the regime in Tehran: “They need to come to the table and sign a deal — before it’s too late. It’s going to be too late for them.” In a particularly sharp remark, Trump hinted at the fate of certain Iranian leaders: “The people I negotiated with — they’re dead.
