Turkish Foreign Minister Visits Hamas Leader in Doha to Offer Condolences

Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan met with Hamas Gaza leader Khalil al-Hayya at his office in Doha, Qatar, to offer condolences for the death of al-Hayya's son, Azam, who was killed in an Israeli strike in Gaza days earlier. During the visit, Turkish President Erdoğan called al-Hayya personally to express his condolences. The Hamas leadership remains based in Qatar.
