U.S. Ambassador Huckabee calls Israeli actions in Qusra village "terror"
U.S. Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee referred to actions by Israelis in the West Bank village of Qusra as "terror" and "criminal," stating that the U.S. Embassy requested IDF and Israeli police intervention to remove what he called "Israeli terrorists" from the scene. Huckabee was responding to complaints from a Palestinian-American activist about a five-day siege of a home belonging to a family with American citizenship. The ambassador described the acts as "shocking" and "repugnant," intended to "frighten and harass the family," while denying claims that the U.S. Embassy failed to act. The village of Qusra is located in the southern Nablus district.
